Is this a pun or a typo? RodC

[edit] asterisks in the list of works?

The asterisks seem to be carried over from the info at [1], namely in reference to what publisher sells the scores. Is this necessary information?

[edit] Scelsi's influence/legacy

I think Scelsi's influence on Spectralist composers such as Tristan Murail should be mentioned. (especially works like Quattro pezzi su una nota sola)

[edit] Warning to consumers!

Warning to consumers! I think you should add a warning to concert goers, CD buyers etc that the works of this composer are an acquired taste, acquired that is for the school of so called modern 20th Century music that almost rendered classical/serious orchestral music a full stop. So last century really!!!

Surely, ”He is best known for writing music based on only one pitch” must suffice :P Bossk-Office 23:34, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

I would assume that most, hopefully all, readers would realize that just because they read about something they should go buy all the CDs by that composer. Let's give the readers some credit and find an appropriate place to criticize Scelsi. Hyacinth 00:15, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge: List of works

I think the list of works is long enough not to be merged into this article. Hyacinth 00:15, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. It would dwarf the text here. Perhaps somebody could collect a few of the most notable and list them here, but I think the full list should be its own page. Rigadoun (talk) 15:42, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
