I think I know what the writer of this article is saying: that one of the sub-sets (tribes) of Sikhism is named Ghuman (hence a member would be named xxx Singh Ghuman (cp Singh Lal), but I know very little about them. The article certainly needs cleaning up though. It might well then be included under the Category:Sikh groups and sects? Peter Shearan 15:27, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ghuman in Pakistan

I created this page for the Ghuman clan of Punjab tribes. This page is now gives the impression that Ghuman are only concentrated in Indian Punjab. I knew many Muslim Ghumans in Pakistan. Siddiqui 16:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Origin

I know my both parents came from the district of Sialkot now in Pakistan. I'm sure we have got Ghuman Jat on both side of the border (thanks Brits!). But what I'm not sure is the origin of Ghumans. It would be interesting to find out more!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.201.42.93 (talk) 10:43, 11 December 2006 (UTC).

I have added more info about our origins. Rab Rakha--Ghuman king 16:26, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
