[edit] Other versions-paragraph trimmed from article-discussion follows

In 1997, the show first aired in Australia, which was the third country for the show to go on the air, 5 years after the show was cancelled in the United States & Canada. The Australian version of the show aired 10 episodes and only one season that lasted 25 minutes long. It was created by Mary-Ann Fahey. On 2001-03-01, the third country to let the show go on the air was New Zealand. In fact, it was actually a television special, which features Steve Seels & P.J. Paniora as themselves.

If it was already being shown in Canada and the USA, then Australia would be the 3rd country to show the series, NOT the 2nd.

I agree, the paragraph is unclear. I don't even know what, if anything, the shows mentioned have in common with the US Get a Life show with Chris Elliott. Do they merely share the name and are different shows entirely, or are they remakes of the US show with different cast, or if they are recut and rebroadcast (syndicated) yet otherwise identical to the US show. Unless this is cleared up, the entry shoud remain here. If they are different shows that share only the name, they deserve their own seperate entries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.130.32.177 (talk • contribs) 2005 November 15 03:12 (UTC)

-well, the implication that the show wasn't screened in New Zealand until 2001 is blatantly false at least. "Get a Life" was on New Zealand television in the early 90s.````

[edit] Add a picture or two

It would be cool if someone out there could add pictures to the page, maybe this one or pics of the dvd covers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.130.32.177 (talk • contribs) 2005 November 15 03:50 (UTC)

[edit] DVD release in February/March

As an update to the note on the interview he gave on the Daily Show: I saw Chris Elliott give a brief talk before a book signing at A Clean Well Lighted Place for Books on Thursday (2005-12-15) where he told the audience that DVDs of both complete seasons, including both his and Adam Resnick's commentary, would be released in February or March of next year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LevyBoy (talkcontribs) 2005 December 17 23:01 (UTC)
