Getting Closer is a rock song from the Wings album Back to the Egg. It was released in the US on 5 June 1979 as the second single from the album and in the UK on 16 August 1979 as the third single from the album. The B-side for the US release was "Spin It On," which was also the B-side of the second UK single, "Old Siam, Sir", while in the UK it was released as a double A-side with "Baby's Request."
