Old Siam, Sir is a hard rock single from Wings' 1979 album, Back to the Egg. It was the A-side of the UK single (listed here) and the B-side of the US single "Arrow Through Me".
To achieve the basic, driving sound on this single, Paul McCartney decided that he needed to use musicians who were not proficient on their instruments (as Neil Young had done with Nils Lofgren on piano on After the Goldrush). Thus, this song features Wings drummer Steve Holly on piano and keyboardist Linda McCartney on drums. The remaining track includes Laurence Juber and Paul on guitars and Denny Laine on bass.[1]
