Hi GeorgeMoney. I saw your javascript page User:GeorgeMoney/monobook.js. Can you tell me how can I do that in firefox (Windows)? I test a lot of scripts to translate them to portuguese Wikipedia and this could be very useful for this task. Mosca2 08:52, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Doesn't work. I have wikipedia.manifest located at C:\Programas\Firefox\chrome\wikipedia.manifest with:

content wikipedia file://c:Programas/Firefox/chrome/mono/

And I have the file C:\Programas\Firefox\chrome\mono\monobook.js with javascript code but nothing happens. Another thing: what do you mean by "visit chrome://wikipedia/content/monobook.js"? I have to put in Firefox URL field chrome://wikipedia/content/monobook.js ? Mosca2 04:45, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. Now it works (or almost). It seems I can't have latin caracters (or in portuguese) in my monobook.js local file. Things like these: "Predefini��es" should be "Predefinições". Mosca2 05:52, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

I just tried installing your search script, and it doesn't seem to do anything. Are you sure it's working properly? Also, when I tried putting it in the middle of my monobook scripts, it broke all the scripts below it (which is why it's now at the bottom). When we say anyone can edit wikipedia, we mean it. Anyone - from you to me to the creator of wikipedia Jimbo Wales - can edit or create any article that he/she chooses. But if the article that is created, regardless of who created it, meets Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, then it can be deleted. In your case, the article was deleted under the criterion "A7":
Unremarkable people, groups, companies and websites. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject. If controversial, or if there has been a previous AfD that resulted in the article being kept, the article should be nominated for AfD instead. Don't delete if you simply don't understand the assertion of importance or significance; delete only if you know that there is none.

I guess you would have to wait until they are notable to create an article on them. See the reasoning behind this on WP:NOTABLE. GeorgeMoney (talk) 03:44, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

It doesn't have to go as far as a debut album, but when they get enough media coverage, and there can be some good sources on the article other than myspace, then it would be considered notable. GeorgeMoney (talk) 04:43, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

sorry to be rude but you just contradicted yourself. i had an article from myspace and an article from http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=29027<- right there. sigh i know im not going to win this but whatever this site is meant to be an encyclopedia about everyone not just the famous people.

I was wondering if you helped create the wikibreak template - I noticed you contributing on the talk page. I cannot make it work at all. I have to put the images in the "noimage" category to get them to appear and I can't get them to be small, even at 1px. I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Random picture of the day and Wikipedia:Random picture of the day/template, requesting that they be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an user page from the main/article space.
