This template is designed for use on disambiguation pages which only contain links to articles for distinct geographical locations with the same name. It displays a notice on the page and includes it in Category:Ambiguous place names (a subcategory of Category:Disambiguation). It is similar in function to Template:Disambig which is used on general purpose disambiguation pages.

Usage

For a disambiguation page containing only geographical location names, such as Mechanicsburg, Ohio and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, add:

For a disambiguation page containing multiple geographical location names and other entries, such as Orange County, California and Orange County, New York along with Orange County (film), add:

{{disambig}}
