Genesis is the fifth studio album released by rapper Busta Rhymes. "Shut 'Em Down 2002" is an unorthodox remix of Public Enemy's "Shut 'Em Down" a la Pete Rock. "Make It Hurt" is featured in the 2004 video game Def Jam: Fight for NY. The biggest single from the album, "Pass the Courvoisier", peaked at number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100.
