Gattatico is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 80 km northwest of Bologna and about 15 km northwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,462 and an area of 42.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Gattatico contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cantone, Case Ponte Enza, Case Reverberi, Nocetolo, Olmo, Paulli, Praticello, and Taneto.
Gattatico borders the following municipalities: Brescello, Campegine, Castelnovo di Sotto, Parma, Poviglio, Sant'Ilario d'Enza, Sorbolo.
