The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter Issue XIV — April 6, 2008

Project News SummerSlam (2007) (link) has been nominated for Featured Article status. Triple H has failed its Featured Article nomination. Its nom page can be found here. List of WCW Hardcore Champions has passed its Featured list nomination; its nomination can be found here. Backlash (2004) has been listed for Peer review. Please review these articles and make suggestions for how it can be improved in preparation for a Good article nomination. Its peer review can be found here. Ion Croitoru, Jos LeDuc, New Year's Revolution (2007), No Way Out (2007), SummerSlam (2007), Unforgiven (2005), and WrestleMania X have been elevated to Good article status. Brian Kendrick, Brock Lesnar, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Randy Orton, Stacy Keibler, and Vengeance (2005) are currently Good article candidates. Current Events At WrestleMania XXIV, Shawn Michaels defeated Ric Flair after executing the Sweet Chin Music, which as a result, meant that Ric Flair was forced to retire from professional wrestling. The next night, at Flair's retirement ceremony on Raw, Triple H congratulated Flair for his 35 year career, and brought out retired and current superstars to thank him. Michaels, and the whole WWE roster came out later to thank him as well. The Undertaker defeated Edge to become the new World Heavyweight Champion forcing him to submit to the Gogoplata. During the pyro celebration for Undertaker's 16-0 streak, a freak accident occurred just before WrestleMania went off-air. During the pryo shooting to the entrance stage, a firework went to the upper-level section of the crowd on top. Forty-five fans were injured, and currently, WWE is trying to investigate what was the cause of the pyrotechnic malfunction Cryme Tyme returned to WWE on March 31, during Raw, defeating Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Matt Hardy also returned on Raw, attacking Randy Orton from behind, and later having a match with Orton. It's building up again. Do you think it'd be a good idea to go around to the other projects again and ask them to review an article or two to reduce the backlog. I had also wondered about this, and I started a discussion thread at Wikipedia talk:Notability#Notability in articles on legal cases. So in sourcing that the youtube was shut down, what exactly do you want? There is no better source than GOING TO HIS YOUTUBE and seeing the message "This account has been closed.", which is the message given when a user closes his account himself. Going to any of his videos will heed the message "this video has been removed by the user", as can be seenhere. This is not a good enough source to you? What's next, in posting the results of pay-per-views, we have to wait for a website to post the results, because tens of thousands watching it happen with their own eyes isn't enough? You're taking this "everything has to be reliable" thing a little too seriously if going to the youtube account and seeing it written in black and white that it has been closed isn't a reliable enough source to claim that it has been closed.
