Can someone help me set up this page? I have loads of info, but hardly any wikipedia experienceMicropw 15:21, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

I did a bit of linking and categorizing that might help. Flowerpotman 19:48, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] redirect

Needs to be redirected to Garforth Community College - this is correct name, see [1] where it is used. PamD 07:20, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

I redirected Garforth College to this article. Ursasapien (talk) 07:24, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
I didn't redirect it immediately myself because the Copyvio banner specifically said "Do not edit this page". I don't know if anyone will object. PamD 07:37, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
I think, since the content is effectively unavailable, it should be fine. However, I reserve the right to be wrong and get in trouble for it. Ursasapien (talk) 09:27, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

I would like to offer a few criticisms of this entry if I may.

Firstly, this page needs citation. Examples:

- "Garforth Community College has been labelled an "outstanding school" by OFSTED officials". I know it has because I read it in the Yorkshire Evening Post but I'd like a verifiable source in the article please.

- "one of the pioneering schools behind finger-print placed lunch payment system, which lowers the risk of crime". I'd like proof of this otherwise it's just an unsubstantiated claim.

- "The school itself has over 2000 students and staff". This is high likely as http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/reports/108/108089.pdf says there is 1964 students, but I'd like some proof of staff numbers or at least some clarity about how many of the "over 2000" are students and how many are staff.

Finally, I'd like to make a point about the tone of the article. It sounds like and advert to me, not an encyclopaedia entry. The tone of the Brigshaw High School article is more appropriate I feel.

Thank you.
