[edit] Correction on Plurals
I've changed all references of "Pocket Monster" to "Pocket Monsters". I know it's written in Japanese script as "Pocket Monster" (「ポケットモンスター」), but the logo is always subtitled in English as "Pocket Monsters", usually written under the katakana.
Therefore I believe the official Japanese name of the game when written in English text is "Pocket Monsters". --Zilog Jones 10:27, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I thought Japanese plurality was contextual anyway--since the title has no context, it technically could go either way, except that it's referred to as Pocket Monsters when written in English. - 211.28.79.52 05:27, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

- This only hold true for the portmanteau "Pokémon", as far as I understand it. When referring to the plural, the phrase "Look at all the Pokémon!" is correct. However, "Look at all the Pokémons!" is incorrect. Drumpler 08:11, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Second party
According to the article, Game Freak is a second-party developer. But they also seem to have developed a game for the PlayStation in 1999. Does anyone know when they become a second-party developer? --Optichan 18:17, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
