The article TDD-1 Tuatha De Dannan was nominated for deletion. The debate was closed on 21 March 2008 with a consensus to merge the content into Full Metal Panic!. If the merger is not completed promptly, TDD-1 Tuatha De Dannan might be re-nominated for deletion.

I don't seem to be able to make the relevant sub-section linking to the List of Full Metal Panic Media work properly. If someone would help me fix this, I'd very much appreciate it. [edit] Names of MITHRIL personnel (Officers, employees, etc.)

Think we should put them in the Mithril section too?

There already is a list of PRT and SRT personnell. Additional characters such as lord Mallory, one of the founders of Mithril, and General Voda (Boda?) among others could be inserted into the Mithril description. The various character discriptions are a mess, being duplicated over the multiple specific series pages. I think a general description relevant to the article at hand should be inserted into the Mithril page (such as Lord Mallory as the founder) but the specific details unrelated should be kept in the character list page, or their individual article. (like their hair color, likes and dislikes, etcetera)Akatombo 08:03, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Main Article NEEDS a thorough rewrite and editing. It is a massive kludge which is difficult to read, and contains information which is superfluous, personal opinion, or replicated elsewhere. Akatombo 02:05, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

Rewrite finally in progress. The existing synopsis is going to be largely removed. All published novels and their respective information will be added into the overview table (possibly moved to a different section) and the infobox and its terribly outdated information will be deletd. The short story collections, the 3 different manga series, and the anime adaptations will be placed in a similar presentation for cohesion and clarity of presentation.

The trivia section is to be moved to their specific locations. Example is the transliteration errata, which will be merged with the Mithril (full metal panic) article describing the SRT and PRT units directly. The OST tracklistings are also unwieldy within this article, so a related article may be created later. Akatombo 13:10, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Episode listing and CD information has been moved to a related page, List of Full Metal Panic Media and appropriately expanded and organized. The media page will eventually contain more information from the other series, short stories, and manga appearances. The Synopsis is next up to be rewritten, to excise the redundant and needless spoiler content. Stronger linking to the list of full metal panic characters page is needed. Why were you annoyed with the B-class rating? That's the highest rating you can get without the peer review. If you think it deserves a Good Article assessment or higher (it has to be GA first though) then nominate it for a peer review. You can also try this reassessment thing, though I don't know how much attention it would get that way. I assessed it as B because it was basically the highest that you can go without peer review... but by all means if you think it deserves a GA rating, than nominate it! --Miss Ethereal 14:13, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
The article, as I first mentioned was a kludge of terrible scale. It did not pass my rather low personal standards. Then, its rated B (which as you say, is the highest without peer review) without even satisfying me. Its not even close to GA standards, as few anime related articles are. I was just annoyed that people might think the article in the form it was, could think it had passed some standard of wiki. It was just that poor.
As far as nominating it goes, it seems a little presumptuous of me to nominate it myself. I'll have someone else do the honors. At the same time, there are major issues preventing its status as GA. this would be the images used within the document, which are definately not public domain. previous image removals only resulted in replacement with other images of dubious source. This is a anime wiki-wide problem, and isn't something I can solve. (or willing to try)

A separate article has been created to collect episode listings, CD track listings, Novels, Manga, stories uncollected into published volumes. List of Full Metal Panic Media. The episode listing and CD track listings were cluttering, incomplete, and (I think) better placed in its own article. so I have. Akatombo 23:40, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
The media list page is shaping up, with novels, anime and soundtrack information complete. I will be starting on the manga adaptations next, but would like opinions on if I should separate the English and Japanese editions or not. I think it would be a good idea to create pages for the light novel series, as it would be helpful for people to understand the differences to the TV series and added information etc. This could be done arc wise to make it more simple I guess. 81.132.108.44 20:44, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps the Arm Slave descriptions (please, someone add pictures) and the Lambda Driver article could be combined, like the Cosmic Era technology page for Gundam SEED Destiny. --Ren zealot
There has been a major revision of the Lambda Driver article done by myself. I have plans to better organize the information.
A page entitled Black_Technology has been created to collect the fictional technologies featured within Full Metal Panic. Arm Slaves will have a technical discussion within the scope of Black Technology.
The Lambda Driver article is to remain independent, as it contains a fair amount of information making combining it unwieldy. A short description is currently within the greater Black_Technology article, linking to the more in-depth Lambda_Driver Article.
The Black Technology page is taking shape, but needs editing and organizaion.

Some parts of this article seem to have been copied from the ADV website. Compare: Full Metal Panic!#ARX-7 Arbalest and ARX-7 Arbalest. A rewrite is currently in process. The entire Arm Slave Article will be revised and edited to better fit with the new Black Technology and Lambda Driver Articles.

No one's stopping you. Go ahead and add them into the List of Full Metal Panic! characters page. If you feel there is enough information to create an individual page, go ahead and do that too.

[edit] No Resemblance To Real Persons

At the end of each episode there is a disclaimer saying there is no similarity to real persons or groups, like the one at the end of most films. This isn't in most anime, does anyone know why they had/decided to put it in FMP? --Aceizace 17:50, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Is it possible for someone more familiar with the series and the episode in question to re-write the cultural references for this episode? The first reference seems longer than warranted and gets a little convoluted as it draws in SRW. There are also two entries in this list for the same episode.
