The Front Range Urban Corridor is an oblong region of urban population located along the eastern face of the Southern Rocky Mountains in the U.S. states of Colorado and Wyoming. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the Front Range Urban Corridor had a population of 4,175,239 on 2007-07-01, an increase of +13.21% since United States Census 2000.[1]

The Front Range Urban Corridor stretches from Pueblo, Colorado, north along Interstate Highway 25 to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and includes the Denver-Aurora Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Colorado Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Boulder Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Fort Collins-Loveland Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Greeley Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Pueblo Metropolitan Statistical Area, the Cheyenne Metropolitan Statistical Area, and the Cañon City Micropolitan Statistical Area.

The corridor derives its name from the Front Range, a mountain range located along the western edge of the central portion of the corridor. The corridor consists of three primary subregions: the South Central Colorado Urban Area, the North Central Colorado Urban Area, and the Cheyenne Metropolitan Area. The table below includes the following information:

  1. The name of the Core Based Statistical Area (CBSA).[2]
  2. The population of the CBSA as of 2007-07-01, as estimated by the United States Census Bureau.[2]
  3. The name of the county.
  4. The population of the county as of 2007-07-01, as estimated by the United States Census Bureau.[3]
  5. The county population as of 2000-04-01, as counted by the United States Census 2000,[3] and
  6. The percent county population change from 2000-04-01, to 2007-07-01, as estimated by the United States Census Bureau.[3]
