[edit] Deletion

I dont think this article should be deleted since it is an important politcal organization of note, i will add references if needed.CholgatalK! 11:04, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes, references are needed- reading the article, I can't tell why it's an important political organization of note- it sounds like an organization that is purely local in scope, but if you have references that show how it meets the notability guidelines, that would fix the problem. -FisherQueen (Talk) 11:08, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I think its important enough to have an article, they are a lobbying and restoration group for a big chunk of Contra Costa County. I think we should remember not to wikilawyer here and that notability guidelines are just guidelines not ironclad rules, this organization has receieved press coverage and is independantly notable from their own website and efforts. If for some reason this is removed maybe move to a new article that combines the various creek groups of the bay area such as san pablo's spawners, berkeleys friends of the five creeks, etc.CholgatalK! 11:15, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
