Talk:Freetown, Massachusetts
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I really like the look of this article! I'm going to use some of it on Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and as a model on Wikipedia:WikiProject Massachusetts. I'm also going to delete the Board of Selectment from the Infobox because it's too cumbersome there and it looks better down in this Government section. --Markles 03:44, 12 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Latest Edits
I have mad a few changes to the general flow of the article:
- The transportation portion of "Infrastructure" has been moved in to be included with the geography section;
- The rest of "Infrastructure" has been moved to become part of the government section;
- "Demographics" has been shifted to after the "Government" and "Education" sections, to be closer to "Culture"and
- The "Books About Freetown" section has been moved to the end of the article, as it is mostly for reference purposes.
I think the article has more of a flow to it in this manner, with related materials flowing between each other. Any questions/comments, feel free to contact me. ToddC4176 15:13, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- The layout was arranged to match other articles, such as Boston, but the new version is fine. Thanks for taking the time. Only thing I'm changing is the "And" to "and" Sahasrahla 02:56, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Request to add link to Freetown, MA page
Dear Freetown, MA page editors/administrators,
My name is Tracy and I am an employee for The Standard Times website (SouthCoastToday.com). I am currently trying to add some relevant links to the local towns of South Coast Massachusetts for public use and up to date local information. SouthCoastToday.com contains town specific pages for each of the towns and cities in South Coast Massachusetts. The page link for Freetown, MA is http://www.southcoasttoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?category=TOWN05 . This page contains all of the local news, events, photos, etc. specifically for Freetown, MA. I am writing today to request an addition for this link in your External Link section. If this is approved, can you please name the link SouthCoastToday.com/Freetown?
Also, please feel free to use any of the information on this page for the Wikipedia page. If you do use any of the information, please include us in your Reference link as SouthCoastToday.com/Freetown.
Thank You for your time and consideration of this link. I truely believe that this will be a useful addition for the public.
