I was adopted out when I was only a week old, I have never met Frank Lucas, a politician in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. However, after my adopted parents died of cancer, I went to the court house in Oklahoma County and a Judge Hubbard opened my records to tell me my birth parents and any medical information that was available. I was told my Native American heritage, who my ancestors were and given names and addresses along with my original birth certificate. I was full-blood native american and my grandparents were very important people within the Indian Tribe that I was a member of. When I tried to contact my birth parents, I recieved a fax from Frank Lucas office in Oklahoma with a statement from my birth mother stating that she did not give birth to me. Now, I have found out the people who buried my grandparents are living on their allotted land in Oklahoma. The funeral home people could not tell me how they acquired my grandparents land. It is classified as Federal Land with oil and gas leases on it. My Indian ancestors were allotted this land and the treaties written at that time said that the land would belong to their heirs forever and ever. Well, I am an heir, so why did Frank Lucas gather up my birth mother to denie my birth? It seems very suspicious to me... I think that their is more here than meets the eye. I have papers that prove my ancestry and the allotted agreement signed and sealed by the President Harrison of the United States of America. Why did Frank Lucas take it upon himself to get involved me, an adopted orphan unless he had something to gain or lose out of it? I will continue to question his involvement with this very personal situation. I still have not met my birth mother or father. However, I have talked with their brothers and sisters and they have confirmed that my parents gave away a baby the same year I was born... I also, have the birth records from the hospital were she gave birth to me which is the same time and date on my original birth certificate. I will find out the rest of the truth soon, but what does Frank Lucas have to do with it? A Republican politician from Cheyenne, Oklahoma...

If you look under the Oklahoma House of Representatives section, you'll see this sentence:

Immediately after being seated, Lucas became very vocal for causes he supported (among other positions, he supports the death penalty and opposes abortion rights). The Democratic-controlled state house responded by redrawing his district in 1990 in such a way that ensured defeat.

This says to me that the state house actively and consciously sought to make sure Lucas could no longer win in his district. This is a clear and blatant accusation of gerrymandering.
