"Alfred Marshall, the most influential economist of the time..."

This line is very subjective and may cause ontroversy. I suggest that it be changed to:

"Alfred Marshall, one of the most influential economist of the time..."

You may well be correct. But I will at least inject that being influential and being deservedly inlfuential are two different things. —SlamDiego 23:47, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] “ahead of his time”

A claim “his contributions were far ahead of his time” is either metaphorical or flatly absurd. In either case, something more literally true should be put in its place. —SlamDiego 23:44, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
