Franklin Township is one of twelve townships in Harrison County, Indiana, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 3,642.

Franklin Township covers an area of 34.53 square miles (89.43 square kilometers); of this, 0.03 square miles (0.07 square kilometers) or 0.08 percent is water. The streams of Lazy Creek, Little Indian Creek, Smith Creek and Woertz Creek run through this township.
