Frank Anthony Iero Jr. (born 31 October 1981) is the youngest member of the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance. He was born in Belleville, New Jersey and attended Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington. Iero's parents divorced when he was young. He then attended Rutgers University on scholarship but then dropped out one semester shy of graduating for the band after he felt they were beginning to get somewhere. Iero is a rhythm guitarist and is one of the two backup vocalists. Frank has many tattoos. He got his first one on his 18th birthday, which was a jack-o-lantern on his upper back. He also has many other tattoos, including a knuckle tattoo that reads "HALLOWEEN", with two Ls on one finger to make it all fit. He also has a tattoo of a scorpion on his neck which he got after MCR's first tour, so that he no longer could get a "real job."
In addition to his band Pencey Prep, Iero also played with the bands Hybrid, Sector 12, I Am a Graveyard, and briefly with Give Up the Ghost.
