[edit] Concept Album

"The album was something of a concept record that dealt with life in modern suburbia." - this is just a myth and it wasn't intended to be a concept album! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.130.157.98 (talk • contribs)

[edit] Duplication

The band's contribution to the animated "Hey Joel" is duplicated in the article. 216.254.30.186 09:27, 4 February 2007 (UTC) LAN3

I merged the two, although it is still somewhat wordy. --Paul Erik 04:56, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Fountains of Wayne-Fountains of Wayne (album cover).jpg

Image:Fountains of Wayne-Fountains of Wayne (album cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:11, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

hold on a second... these guys get to have their album covers on their main article but i get in a bunch of trouble for putting fleshcrawl's album covers on their page? whatever happened to "what's good for the goose is good for the gander?" AeturnalNarcosis (talk) 22:45, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Fixed it. The album gallery is not permitted under WP:NFCC policy. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 04:09, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image of Schlesinger

Would any of the editors of the Fountains of Wayne article be interested in commenting on the dispute (revert war) occurring at Talk:Adam Schlesinger#Image? Thanks in advance, --Paul Erik 05:19, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Radiotion Vibe

I've added Radiation Vibe to the intro as it is their first and break through single, it charted #32 in the UK charts; their second best effort (Stacey's mom charted #11). It is possibly their most important single. Kameejl (Talk) 15:39, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
