[edit] SOFO

I couldn't find any evidence online for the assertion in the last paragraph about crime in the Lower Village, and SOFO is obviously not an acronym for Old South Forest Hill, so I removed the paragraph. John FitzGerald 15:55, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Synagogues

I deleted the assertion that there many synagogues in Forest Hill because I didn't think there were any. It turns out there is at least one (Beth Lida Forest Hill), but I still don't think saying there are many synagogues in Forest Hill is justified. There is at least one wealthy church, though. Reply: Two of Toronto's major synagogues, Holy Blossom and Beth Tzedec, are actually located on the west side of Bathurst St. Bathurst St. is the western boundary of Forest Hill (south of Eglinton, north of there it skirts over to the Allen Expressway). Technically they are actually in Cedarvale, but they are pretty much part of the Forest Hill community. MF
