Hi to all Wikipedians: my name is Rubén Rodríguez Abril, I was born in Oviedo (Asturias, Spain) on January 8th 1980, but live since my childhoold in Andalusia.

I have already finished my Law studies and now I am currently working. In my waste time, I usually read, surf in the net, and contribute in Wikipedia.

La verdad, y en esto he de coincidir con el usuario Rsg, es que mi ideal se acerca también al homo universalis del Renacimiento o al de los Enciclopedistas: ¿Acaso no realizó D'Alembert contribuciones en el ámbito de la física-matemática (con su ecuación diferencial de ondas) y en el de las Humanidades (es impresionante la magnitud de su obra enciclopedista)?

Mis intereses son muy variados, si bien, últimamente, me estoy centrando en dos materias en particular: La física teórica, especialmente la física fundamental, y la historia, particularmente la historia de la Asturias medieval y la de las Islas Británicas, que me apasiona. Otras materias que me resultan interesantes son la lingüística, especialmente todo lo relativo a la filología germánica asi como a la griega. Me gustaría aprender noruego antiguo, anglosajón y mejorar mis conocimientos de griego antiguo.

También me apasiona todo lo relacionado con la poesía romántica, sobre todo la inglesa (Coleridge, Wortsworth) y la alemana (Goethe, Hölderlin, Novalis...), así como la pintura de Turner y la de los Prerrafaelistas británicos.
