Fly Upright Kite is an indie rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Their debut EP, Every Breathing Moment, was named in the top 5 EPs of 2006 by AbsolutePunk.net. They were also included in AbsolutePunk's "The Absolute 100", a list of up-and-coming bands, in August of 2007. [1]
They are currently recording their second release with Mike Poorman of Strangeways Recording, who has recorded bands such as Piebald and Paulson. The recordings are being mixed by Brian McTernan who has worked with bands such as Circa Survive, Moneen, and Texas is the Reason.
