This page needs to be worked on in conjunction with the generic Fluxus entry.

It was a bit too bold to claim Rutgers as "arguably the birthplace of Fluxus" despite the importance of Rutgers to Fluxus history. Most of Fluxus has happened ouside of the academic world and much of the movement considered (and still considers) itself as being contrary to institutional art of all kinds (even institutional anti-art).Arevich 19:39, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
