There's mention of a £10,000 bond entered by Donal MacCarthy - is that correct?--shtove 20:31, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

According to Pacata Hibernia, Donal MacCarthy paid his pledge to George Carew in kind in 1602 (may be 1603 new style) in cattle, sheep and garrans (work ponies). Jdorney 01:09, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

This is the old Maccarthy Mor's illegitimate son Donal, not Donal na Pipi £10,000 seems far too high though. Jdorney
