As for the change in symbols, I obtained the information from the following pages: http://francedrapeaux.club.fr/Monde/niger.html and http://asmi.dyndns.org/cyber-flag/Html/NigerSymbol.htm I then translated and paraphrased the information from both pages. --PerryH

The upper band is RED in the picture, although it should be ORANGE, according to the article. The two colours are not the same, of course. There is orange for example in the Flag of Cote d'Ivoire and Flag of Ireland – they have actually orange-coloured bands, for comparison. This image should be modified or deleted, I assume.
