The flag is supposed to have aspect ratio 2:3, but the image is 1:2. I assume the image is wrong... --Mihai 21:10, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)

The 2:3 ratio applies only for the flags of ships. --Zslevi 14:15, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia guidelines discourage linking directly to disambiguation pages. What sense of "strength" is meant here? Physical strength? Military strength? Moral strength (fortitude or virtue)? Thanks. Sanguinity 19:15, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flag from 1957-1989

Is there a reference that the flag shown at Flag_of_Hungary_(1957-1989).png was used during those years? The FOTW website has no mention of it at all.

This issue I have resolved actually quite some time ago. That flag was never official in that form, the badge was pictured on it however quite often. The site says so now. (And has been saying so for some time).Szabi 11:00, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Someone with the IP 194.152.157.115 added an image. The image shows the so called Kossuth coat of arms as a badge. The text (which was there prior) describes it as the minor arms without the crown on the top which is the same basic design, but the outer shape of the supporter ("shield") is different! Can someone check that? I added a "{Fact}" to the image.Szabi 10:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
