Not sure where to put this, so it can go here for someone with more imagination to sort out! In British sporting contexts, a fixture means a game on a set date between two sides (eg 2nd July: Liverpool v Manchester United), and the calendar published at the beginning of the season is called the fixture list (a term much more common than "schedule" in the UK). I'd put something up at fixture list but can't think of anything long enough to be more than a dicdef. Loganberry (Talk) 00:20, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

  • It's pretty far removed from the concept discussed on this page - is there an article on sports in the UK? -- BD2412 talk 00:42, July 12, 2005 (UTC)
