[edit] Ceodore/Theodore
Sorry about that. I'll just lay out my argument real quick. First off, I'd agree with you on Theodore, if it hadn't been spelled as "Ceodore" in the V-Jump article. V-Jump has an extremely good track record for this sort of thing, and it's usually the first place Square-Enix releases new information. The article also used all of the proper (Japanese version) romanizations of other characters, such as Cecil Harvey and Cain Highwind. It's also unlikely that they would select Ceodore unless it WAS the proper romanization, just because Theodore is clearly the much more normal choice.
Now, we can also assume that the boy is named after Golbeza, as FFIVDS reveals that his real name is "Ceodore/Theodore". The thing here is that, it WOULD follow a sort of naming convention within the family; Cecillia, Cecil, and Ceodore. I wouldn't be surprised if their father had been named Ceolbeza.
Anyway, with it being spelled out in English by the very source that is referenced heavily in the article, and being as how that's the closest thing to an official romanization available, I'd say it's more safe to use that, whereas Theodore would be verging closer to OR.
