Fenella Fudge

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fenella 'Mimosa' Fudge (born Hadingham in the United Kingdom) is a newsreader for BBC Radio 2. She has also previously worked as an announcer for Radio 4, as well as being a television presenter and continuity announcer for ITV.

Fenella joined the BBC as a trainee secretary after leaving school, then later spent some time working in television production. After training as a continuity announcer with Radio Four, she turned freelance, and worked both in commercial radio and television. She then took time off to start her own business, before returning to the BBC, where she became a newsreader and occasional weekend overnight presenter for Radio Two.

Her name is frequently mistaken or misheard to be Vanilla Fudge, something of which has become a joke among her colleagues.
