Felipe Melo de Carvalho (born 26 August 1983 in Volta Redonda) is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Fiorentina in Italy's Serie A.
After a successful first season at Almeira, Melo agreed to transfer to Fiorentina which will see him move for the 2008/2009 season. He confirmed this after Almeria'a match versus Recreativo de Huelva in the Spanish league.[1]
