[edit] Mentioning non FIS members in this article

There is no point in mentioning in this article 100+ splinter organizations in Italy (many of them bigger than this one). The article is titled Federazione Italiana dello Scautismo, it should describe Federazione Italiana dello Scautismo, not everything else.

When someone writes a Scouting in Italy entry, it will mention them. I might write it myself in the future, when I have the time, but anyone can be bold and do it himself.

I'll make a comparison. In it.wiki there is no entry on the US libertarian party. Should we mention it on the article about the US democratic party for this reason? I think no. It can have its own entry, if it is encyclopedic enough, or anyone can start a list. It needn't be added to other entries (unless there is any specific reason to mention it there).

So, please, don't add paragraphs for organizations which don't belong to Federazione Italiana dello Scautismo in the Federazione Italiana dello Scautismo article.

I started it, could you please include some history (and perhaps some numbers)? --jergen 09:00, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do. I'll also mention it in it:Discussione:Scoutismo. But you certainly found many more association than I knew existed ;-)
I'll also mention it in it:Discussione:Scoutismo.

[edit] English name

I checked out the National Scout Organisations, and the name of this organization in English is Italian Scout Federation. I think we should change it to that name. --evrik 22:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Bad translation; literally Italian Federation of the Scout Movement. --jergen 10:04, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
