[edit] Festivus
Hi. I see you have a strong interest in the subject of Festivus. Why not... But I think it would really be best to expand the Festivus page rather than break the existing redirects. The Festivus page is quite short and you can probably expand it quite a bit without creating multiple short subarticles. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 01:08, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pule
A tag has been placed on Pule, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to a user page from the main/article space. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 22:48, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Pule, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as articles for deletion. If you can indicate how Pule is different from the previously posted material, or if you can indicate why this article should not be deleted, I advise you to place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article, and also put a note on Talk:Pule saying why this article should stay. An admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 4 under General criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. We welcome your help in trying to improve Wikipedia, and we request you to follow these instructions. Calton | Talk 13:29, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your user page
I can have the content in my own user page if I want!
That would be, "No, you can't". See here. --Calton | Talk 14:52, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, come ON! The articles get deleted for no good reason, and all my hard work goes down the drain and I can't keep the content anywhere?!?! HOW IS THAT FAIR?!?! Feats-O-Strength 15:09, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- But Festivus, like Pule, was only featured in one episode of one TV show! If you're gonna delete anything to do with Pule, why not with Festivus as well? And if you're not going to delete the Festivus article, then WHY delete Pule?Go to my user page if you want to see the lost information on the holiday of Pule. [edit] Garfield
I think him changing his name was a one-shot gag. It has not been mentioned in any other media about Garfield, including the strips after it. Knowing this shouldn't it be mentioned as a one-shot gag on the page? 99.230.152.143 00:27, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Repost of Pule (Holiday)
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Pule (Holiday), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Pule (Holiday) was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Pule (Holiday), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. CSDWarnBot 02:01, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- The article has been deleted per Wikipedia:Deletion policy. If you have an objection to the deletion discussion that took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pule (2nd nomination), go to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Also, when you submitted Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Pule (Holiday), you proved that you're willing to disrupt Wikipedia to make a point. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 04:15, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
-
- Let me explain this with more detail than I really have time to research:
- The original article was deleted as a result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pule (2nd nomination) on July 30.
- You recreated the article as a redirect to your own userspace on September 1. It got deleted on September 2 because we don't allow articles in main space that point to user space.
- You recreated the article on September 3, 5:48 AM, with its full content.
- Xoloz (talk • contribs • blocks • protects • deletions • moves • rights) deleted the page and protected it against recreation on September 3, 10:12 AM.
- On September 3, 5:36 AM, you created with the same content as in . Calton (talk • contribs • blocks • protects • deletions • moves • rights) deleted it at 7:30 that morning.
- On September 7, you added "Croppy the Pule Duck" to . That addition got reverted, so you added it again. You readded it again on October 27, and added it yet again on November 6.
- On November 6, 14:52, you created still yet again. Awyong Jeffrey Mordecai Salleh (talk • contribs • blocks • protects • deletions • moves • rights) deleted it on November 7, 2:52 AM.
- On November 6, 14:52, you created yet again, and with substantially similar content to the other Pule articles. Calton (talk • contribs • blocks • protects • deletions • moves • rights) flagged it as a repost, and I deleted it at 22:07.
- On November 6, 15:59, you created in an attempt to promote your article, even though you knew it was a repost. I flagged the FAC as a repost of deleted material minutes after deleting .
- Suddenly, out of nowhere, Deck the Hallz (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) comes over to support the FAC for Pule. It's sort of surprising that a brand new user would find your FA nomination and support it.
- At 5:49 today, you complained: "I still don't know WHY it was deleted! And there's not even a deletion nomination thing for that article, just the original article! And "Deck the sock puppet"? What the hell does THAT mean?"
- I think you know quite well why the article was deleted, and why several reposts of the article were deleted. You're just pretending to be naive in this matter.
- Wikipedia is not a game or a joke. It is an encyclopedia. If you are only here to repost deleted content, and to keep going on and on and on about Pule, you don't belong here. If you make one more edit related to the Pule holiday, you will be blocked. I won't spend any more time explaining it to you. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 16:57, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Let me explain this with more detail than I really have time to research:
Alright, alright, I get the picture, no more Pule edits. You have my word, reluctant as it is. Huh 17:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Oh, and by the way, I now know what Deck the Sock Puppet means. I did NOT create the account Deck the Hallz! Huh 17:33, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] blocked
.
You are kidding me, aren't you? Basing your refusal to lift my block on the actions of another user? You're still going with this sockpuppet nonsense? I will state now, for what I hope to have to be the final time, I DID NOT CREATE DECK THE HALLZ! Also, he's blocked indefinitely for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. For shame. I thought Wikipedia had more sense than this. Huh 11:48, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
If only he hadn't mentioned that he was new on his userpage. 99.230.152.143 00:47, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
What's wrong with him being new? Huh 11:36, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
- If Deck the Hallz (talk · contribs) is actually a different user, he should be making his case on his own user talk page, not by proxy here. Now stop going on about Pule and your "friend" Deck the Hallz. You are really starting to try my patience. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 14:27, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
What I meant was, new could expire at any time. It actually seems kind of strange to me. But that's me. 99.230.152.143 01:57, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Alright, look. I SAID I'd stop with Pule. But I will defend Deck the Hallz in any way necessary. Huh 12:57, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
