[edit] Infobox

Looked great to me - it worked, which is something most new infoboxes don't. I made some minor changes to it then brought in some code to optionally display each line. Good work with that one :) Orderinchaos78 13:27, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Reason for pipe on the name is to enable sorting within categories. e.g. an article called Shire of Northam you might want to sort as "Northam" so you would put Category:Local Government Areas of Western Australia|Northam. Orderinchaos78 14:30, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Buses WikiProject

I notice that you have edited lists of bus routes recently. You might be interested in helping with the new WikiProject buses, especially the proposed Bus route list guide. We are also working out when a bus route should have its own article and other issues. --NE2 15:27, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] SBS

--Dwuu 02:43, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Thanks for the updated spelling. I was thinking maybe SBS needs a seperate new heading for popular programs and subjects which the other commercial broadcasters would never bring. I think it is relevant considering SBS is becoming more than a multicultural broadcaster. It has recently screened the "Future Foucus Series", the "Australian Movies Season" and is increasing its appeal to younger audiences (16-39). It is also acquring more quality programing. What do you think?

Hello, Farsouth. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:JJJ likeaversion 2.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Farsouth. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. [edit] Fiddling with templates and tables

I'm just wondering why you keep tampering with all sorts of templates and tables. You have edited the french film lists so that the main header goes underneath the first year of the decade. We came to a consensus before to have the year on the left margin anway. Please try to help filling in the tables with films and info itself rather than continuing to adjust templates -I'd really appreciate your help . Thanks.

Please try to help complete the lists rather than adjusting the tables. THis will be far more useful to everybody. Thanks ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 10:33, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Melbourne meetup 6

Hi. This is just a reminder to Wikipedeans that the next Melbourne meetup has been arranged for 19 June. I would be pleased if you could indicate on the meetup page your likely attendence, or otherwise. Regards. - Cuddy Wifter 05:30, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cycling in Victoria - Google Maps

Just curious, Are you the person who did the mapping of the bike routes? Is it possible to not have every track selected? Farsouth 06:09, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi Farsouth. Yep that's me. GMaps doesn't appear to allow folders or items in a folder to be turned on or off at the moment. They are still working on the GMap capbilities and they improve over time. I understand it makes it difficult to work out which trail is which. Ideally the trail of interest should be highlighted. I did toy with the idea of zooming in on the trail so it was at least in the centre of the screen - which can be done - would that help? It took a while to get all this stuff going (and a lot of pedalling) and I would like to improve what GMaps shows but I have a bit of learning curve to go through. Maybe in a few months time. What about elevation charts - are they of any interest? In the meantime you can use Google Earth. It shows so much more - there are about 700 photos to look at but yes it does need the user to have Google Earth installed. I'm curious to know why you remove the link to it? A reader would gain if they made use of the link.

[edit] Port Fairy

Dear Farsouth Presume you mean the link to the Port Line ships. Whilst it doesn't actually state the ship was named for the town, the Port Line ships were named after ports in Australasia, Huon, Gisborne etc. so it seemed a reasonable assumption, especially as 'Port Fairy' has no other associations. I found the Port Fairy (town) site trying to verify the spelling (Fairy or Fairey) of the ship, which was involved in an incident during WW2 that HMS Swale was also involved in.
