This is an old essay i had to write. It was meant to be short and properly referenced etc. (I'm not too proud of it.)

It still has all the references embedded it. They can be changed if a standard referencing method is established for Wikipedia.

I'm releasing it under the terms of the GFDL (like the rest of Wikipedia).

[edit] This really needs a rewrite

To be completely blunt, this is completely incomprehensible to someone with little to no education in medicine or the disease. There is very little in the way of useful information that can be gleaned from this for someone who is looking for information, which is how I ended up here. This article lack a list of people who had the disease. Could make it more informative
