You know, you've got have some reason for liking Star Wars. You can't just pass it off as "I just like it". Oh, and damn right RP servers suck! And, uh, thanks for reminding me to put a movie section on my own page! --Arabani 01:12, August 20, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Warhammer 40,000
Did you know there's a Warhammer 40,000 Wikicity? (probably not, because it only opened a few days ago!). It'd be great if you could help out and let other people know about it. the wub "?/!" 12:19, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Impact events
Hello, the category of impact events you have created -- do you think it is useful to fill that category with the craters on Earth? It now just duplicates the Craters on Earth category.
Sorry, should read the category history before writing...--Jyril 14:02, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
- OK, I'll add Craters on Earth as a subcategory and remove individual crater articles from the category. --Jyril 17:36, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
-
- That sounds like an excellent solution. -Falcorian 20:46, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Second message from a newbie
I almost didn't get your message - I'm moving interstate in a few days, so there's no way I'm going to be at the same IP address.
Thanks for the welcome. I can't guarantee that I'll contribute a lot in the near future, but I should be a bit more active during vacation. I've used wikipedia quite a bit in the past - I think I owe it on behalf of my karma.

[edit] WP:WP
Thanks for pitching in! Its great to have some help cause I was thinking of just doing it myself later on. I'm not even worried about getting things in a good order yet - just putting them where they generally belong. More work than I thought. :P -Ste|vertigo 00:16, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- I'd like to offer what help I can, but I'm unable to connect to edit some pages it seems, WP:WP being one of them, your talk page, my talk page sometimes... I'll drop by though when things start working again. -Falcorian 00:27, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] LaTeX
What program do you use to edit LaTeX? Oh, and why does it feel so good to know that the Stanfurd userbox is so fugly? :D --Arabani 00:59, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- None, it died. :( It was on some Berkeley site... --Falcorian 03:17, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Berkeley article
Hey! Thanks for the input on the Tien Center graphic. Help me out here, they want to take all the pics I put up down! I think they a good addition to the article. ckoala84 11:18 pm 1/1/06
[edit] Pacific Ten Conference Template
Hey, I just would like you to explain why the PAC-10 logo on the Template:Pacific Ten Conference page is a violation of Wiki fair use, and thus why it was removed. Your time is appreciated. Thanks! AZCactus1 23:59, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
-
- I can answer for him! :D From Wikipedia:Fair Use#Fair Use Criteria:
-
Fair use images should only be used in the article namespace. They should never be used on templates (including stub templates and navigation boxes) or on user pages.
- Hope that helps. --Arabani 00:36, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
I will definitely keep that in mind. Many thanks! AZCactus1 02:22, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
Arab got that. --Falcorian | Talk 09:32, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bowles Hall
I would assume that the tag for the crest would definitely be good. As for the picture of Bowles Hall itself, I am not sure exactly where it is from, but it was taken from the 1930s and a copy of the picture had been in the Bowles Hall lounge for some time (until last year). I can go ahead and find out more information if you would like. Boneheadmx 23:18, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'll do whatever I can to help out with the article. If you need any help, I have a Bowles Hall songbook with a compilation of Bowles Hall traditional songs as well as papers on the Landmark status of the building, which covers the architecture in greater detail. Boneheadmx 23:27, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User boxes
Stop adding them to my user page when I'm away! /cry And get lvl 61 alrdy, u nub, kthxbye. =P --Arabani 07:41, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
- Go back to Berkeley then! (and no!) :p --Falcorian | Talk 07:43, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
- Bah, you're going to have to wait until Monday! Anyway, home is annoying me to death. Our cable modem started dying earlier this week and would randomly drop its connection for hours on end. We finally got Cox today to confirm that the cable modem was indeed dying and picked up a shiny new Linksys modem. And isn't it past your curfew? :D --Arabani 07:48, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for help on my user page
What a weird surprise to find that I had improperly formatted a link on my own page. Nice of you to fix it for me. Best of luck! Chris the speller 15:58, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What is this template?
Hi, what is this {{general relativity}} template? TIA ---CH 23:38, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- It's the navigation bar on the sides of all the general relativity articles. --Falcorian (talk) 23:57, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] UC Berkeley template
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I haven't the slightest idea on how to make subtemplates. I put a message on the UC Berkeley talk page asking for help with that and for more suggestions. Arcimpulse 01:56, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Go game playing time
Why did you change the upper bound from 180 to 100 minutes? I've played games that lasted more than two hours, haven't you? To avoid scaring away potential players? :-) Davipo 18:44, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2 days late
Thanks for the comments you left a couple of days ago about the Bullfighting article, and well done with your recent edits - the article looks a lot better now! -- ChrisO 00:06, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Heidieh"
I figured it was some sort of prank on someone's part...I had just noticed that "Heidieh" is a palindrome, and was probably inserted on many Croce articles as a shits-and-giggles kind of fit. Mike H. That's hot 11:00, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Featured Picture
A picture you uploaded, Image:Carrots of many colors.jpg, has just become a Featured Picture! Congratulations, and thank for uploading it for us. Raven4x4x 08:45, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Moving pages
Hi. When moving pages (as you did with Gideon Ravenor and Ciaphas Cain), please do not do this by copy-and-pasting the text from one article to the other, as this loses the edit history (along with attributions of who wrote what; maintaining these is a GFDL requirement). The correct way is to use the "move" tab at the top of every page. I've tagged the pages to see if they can be fixed up. Cheers --Pak21 08:13, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- I know, I should have requested move on at least one of them, but didn't feel like it. --Falcorian (talk) 17:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your given warning
This is a university network, hence, we can't know who altered the text you mention in the message, since every user is funneled through the same IP address. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.11.59.24 (talk • contribs)
- Hmm, alright. I think theres a template around for that too... --Falcorian (talk) 19:04, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Supernova Cosmology Project
Thanks for creating the article. I'll try to get around to expanding it, in the same sense that I was getting around to creating it in the first place. :-P -- SCZenz 18:38, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 02:28, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Colonel Marksman here
Say, you haven't contributed to anything in a bit of awhile, and we haven't conflicted/agreed/spoken/anything with one another (although the second-to-last of these is personally prefered :D).
I've been acting like a chicken with his head cut off and did a lot of interesting spurring up here and there (including suggestions to the Warhammer Wikipedians) and etc. I'm somewhat new, but learning.
Anyway, enough of talk. The point is that I've contributed a lot to Warhammer 40,000 here, and you haven't said anything to me yet. It also appears that my proposed guidelines are being scorned. That was a lot of effort and work, with open arms to other editors to change up where needed, but nothing's changed. Thanks. Colonel Marksman 23:04, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I must admit, I've gone into a inactive period of wiki-life, just cleaning up a few things I run into here and there. ;) Maybe once Summer rolls around I'll jump back in. But I'll certainly take a look at your guidelines! --Falcorian (talk) 23:11, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dianetics
Thanks for your "ref" work on Dianetics. Converting old citations to proper refs and templates is tedious but valuable. --Davidstrauss 06:51, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ministry of Truth
Nice job keeping Ministry of Truth's edits in line. You may however want to take a look at the Hamachi page and the Talk:Hamachi page. This user has taken a heavy hand to editing this VPN application's page. Keep up the good work! --192.33.224.240 16:05, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- I actually enjoyed myself quite a bit while debating with Falcorian about our did-he-drop-out-or-not friend Steve Gibson and if all WikiPedians were as friendly and intellectually honest as he demonstrated to be over there, WP would be a better place.
- And even though duking it out with Hamachi head developer Alex Pankratow is a lengthy process, we are making good progress now. --Ministry of Truth 01:58, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yep, we could really use an extra pair of eyes and some help over at Talk:Hamachi.
