Football Club Verbroedering Dender Eendracht Hekelgem is a Belgian football club based in Denderleeuw. It is named after former clubs F.C. Denderleeuw, Verbroedering Denderhoutem and Eendracht Hekelgem that merged in the 2000s, and after the river Dender which crosses Denderleeuw. It has the matricule n°5647 of F.C. Denderleeuw. The home stadium of the club is Florent Beeckmanstadion in Denderleeuw. Verbroedering Dender won consecutively the Belgian Third Division A title (2005-06) and the second division title (2006-07). They were promoted to the Belgian Top Division at the end of the 2006/7 season.

Football Club Denderleeuw was founded in 1952 and registered to the Belgian Football Association in 1953. It first qualified for the second division in 1996. That season the club qualified for the final round but it failed to promote in the Jupiler League, finishing at third place. The next season it also qualified for the final round and ended second, 3 points behind Kortrijk.
At the end of the 2000-01 season, F.C. Denderleeuw merged with neighbour F.C. Eendracht Hekelgem to form F.C. Denderleeuw E.H. Another merger occurred in 2005, this time with Verbroedering Denderhoutem.
On May 13, 2007, Dender achieved promotion to the highest level of Belgian football for the first time in their history, after beating Dessel 0-2 on the second division's 33rd match day.
