Talk:Experimental physics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am completely at a loss as to what we should say in this article. The subject is mind-bogglingly broad, and in some sense cuts sideways through more standard ways of organizing physics. Thast is to say, an "experimental particle physicist" is much more a type of "particle physicist" than a type of "experimental physicist." The roles, tasks, and organization of experimentalists are very different in different subfields. That being the case, what should this article say? -- SCZenz 01:02, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
One things for sure is that the article theoretical physics is well ahead of this one, and this should not be...

[edit] Overview
I've added an overview of experimental physics. That ought to give a starting point for things. Headbomb (talk) 05:22, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
