Exiles Nunataks

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Exiles Nunataks (69°57′S, 158°3′E) is a cluster of small nunataks 8 miles (13 km) south-southwest of DeRemer Nunataks in the Wilson Hills. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. So named by the northern party of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (NZGSAE), 1963-64, because of their isolated position.
