The article states;
The lifetime (see resonance) of a system in an excited state is usually short:
Is the link to the resonance article supposed to explain the meaning of lifetime or that the lifetime is short. As far as I can see it does neither. SpinningSpark 22:07, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
