Evan Andriopoulos is an ice hockey player.

[edit] Early life and career
He was born in New London, Connecticut on August 27, 1968, graduated from the East Lyme school system in 1986, attended the University of New Haven (1986) and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1990. He attended the University of Oslo (Norway) in 1998.
Andriopoulos played youth hockey in the Southeastern Connecticut Youth Hockey League and in summer leagues in Rhode Island (Mt. St. Charles and N. Smithfield) and South Windsor, Connecticut.

He played in the SuHL, a semi-pro league in Florida, with the travel team Hollywood Wheels. He played on two Norwegian teams from 1991 through 2004 winning the national championship in 2003. In 2003 AIK became the first team from outside of Sweden to win this prestigious Linkoping Tournament. He retired as an active player in 2004.
Andriopoulos a physical, shot blocking, stay-at-home defenseman captained two teams. He led the Norwegian League with penalty minutes twice (1999-00 and 2000-01) and was an All Star in 1992, 1994, 1995 and 2003.

He was vice president of FinnStar Hockey, Inc. of Florida, now resides in Norway and is responsible for Sales and Business Development emphasizing on establishment of local presences via a partner network at [Avikom AS]www.avikom.no (Inc.) a Norwegian High Definitions Conferencing Company in Oslo, Norway.
Manages the popular travel blog [www.thenewenglandcoast.com] which offers reviews and travel tips on the New England Coast.
