[edit] Medicinal use

Need purported medicinal properties in traditional Chinese medicine. Badagnani (talk) 03:36, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

The references and external links provide a lot. You can also find more by doing a Google search for "Euryale ferox". I chose not to add such things myself, since Wikipedia does not give out medical advice. --EncycloPetey (talk) 04:58, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

The Chinese assign/ascribe a lot of purported cures for their herbs, that's true. But I think if the herb is well known for one or two primary uses, as are ginseng, Siraitia grosvenorii, Reishi, valerian, ginkgo biloba, etc., those should be noted. For fox nuts it happens to be male sexual/urinary issues. Badagnani (talk) 05:14, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
