European Cup 1964-65

The season 1964-65 of the European Cup football club tournament was won by Internazionale for the second time in row, in a final match against two-times former champions Benfica.
Liverpool FC knocked out 1. FC Köln in the quarter finals by the toss of a coin after two goalless draws and a tied playoff.
