Hi there,

In the form that I used them, the {{citation}} templates don't do anything extra. However, you can add lots of extra fields to them which give useful information, such as the name of the website you're citing, the publication date, the last access of the website and so on. It's strongly recommended that you use the templates rather than writing the references out manually, as it ensures that the references appear in a nice, consistent format with all the essential information. They're pretty much essential if you want articles to eventually become featured.

Have a look at the documentation for the template to find out how to use it properly. Also, have a look at a featured article like Radiohead to see an example of the template in use. Cheers, Papa November (talk) 13:54, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

There's a country singer who released an album with this name. Do you think that instead I could rewrite this page to be about the album, with a hatnote pointing to the album containing the Beach Boys song? I assume you're meaning Rachel Proctor, and I'd say hell yeah. #8 in the country charts and #66 in the top 200. And on the plus side, she's waaaaaaaaaay better looking than those Beach Boys. Is there anything I can do to help out?  Esradekan Gibb  ^"Talk" 11:06, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
