[edit] Series question

Should Sega's pre-2K games be considered part of this series? I'm specifically referring to NFL Prime Time '98 and NFL '97. Nifboy 03:59, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Weren't they part of the Joe Montana series?—thegreentrilby 20:39, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
I honestly don't know. I only have passing knowledge of sports games. Nifboy 01:39, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

I removed the following pieces of trivia, since they simply repeat what can be learned from the table in the "Installments" section:

NFL 2K, 2K1, and 2K2 all featured Randy Moss on their cover.
NFL 2K3 featured Brian Urlacher on its cover.
ESPN NFL Football featured Warren Sapp on its cover.
ESPN NFL 2K5 featured Terrell Owens on its cover.

Peace. - Ecksem Diem 12:44, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:ESPN NFL 2K5.jpg

Image:ESPN NFL 2K5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:58, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please add information about the "Beta-7" hoax.

I think that the Beta-7 hoax should be included in the article, just to clear up confusion about it. (It was actually part of the publicity campaign for ESPN NFL Football, AKA 2k4.) Once it's done, "Beta-7" should redirect here. What do you think? --NetRolller 3D 21:16, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Title

Shouldn't the title leave the ESPN out since it has been featured in only 2 out of 6 games. And even if there would be additional games in the series, they wouldn't have the ESPN brand in them because Sega lost the license. --Mika1h (talk) 15:03, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
