Erik Rasmussen (born March 28, 1977 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, U.S.) Graduated in 1995 from St. Louis Park High School, is a professional ice hockey player who formerly played center and left wing for the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils. He played for the University of Minnesota for two years before going pro. Rasmussen was drafted in the first round, seventh overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. He then played for the Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings. He currently plays on New Jersey's AHL affiliate in Lowell.
