Eric Himelfarb is a professional ice hockey player for the HC Lausanne of the Nationalliga B in Switzerland. Born January 1, 1983 in Thornhill, Ontario, Himelfarb was 171st overall pick of the Montreal Canadiens in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft [1]. Himelfarb signed as a free agent with the Detroit Red Wings on March 30, 2004 and was assigned to the Griffins, their AHL affiliate [2]. After four seasons in Grand Rapids, Himelfarb signed with HC Lausanne of the Swiss League on May 30, 2007 [3].
