Eoghan Hickey (born 29 October 1981) is a professional rugby player for Guinness Premiership team London Irish. He is noted for his large size for an out-half[citation needed]. He is 6’4 and 94 kg. Although Irish he was born in Pontypridd in Wales. He has stated he would never play for Wales.
In the 2005/2006 season Hickey played with Leinster, transferring to Munster for the 2007 season. He has also played for UCD.
Outside of Rugby Hickey received the Professor John Nash Award for achieving the highest grade in his University College Dublin statistic degree[citation needed].
