The article states,

The story that Eof was a swineherd goes back at least to William of Malmesbury, writing in the twelfth century, while the obverse of the conventual seal of Evesham Abbey clearly shows stylised pigs rather than sheep [4] and [5]. The monks of the Abbey clearly thought Eof kept pigs.

Which doesn't necessarily mean that Eof lived during during the 12th century. Clarification needed. MP (talkcontribs) 12:11, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
